Cook time: 6–8 minutes
Servings: 2–3
Ingredients:
1 lb Sunnyvale Seafood IQF P&D Tail-Off Shrimp (thawed)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Thaw the shrimp under cold running water or in the refrigerator overnight. Pat dry with paper towels.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30–45 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Squeeze in the lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Toss gently to coat.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges. Great over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
Tips:
Do not overcook — shrimp cook very quickly.
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine after the garlic.
This recipe works perfectly with our IQF P&D Tail-Off Shrimp because they are already peeled, deveined, and ready to cook.
